Last week in our sense of paradise

Annecy

Wednesday morning Rudi and I jumped in the car. Blessed with beautiful scenery all round we headed in the direction of Geneve, and got off in Annecy. Not a long drive for such a beautiful town...or city, I'm not sure, but it is huge. Not what you would expect from a cute name like Annecy, right?

So we put on our jackets and in my case Rudi's humungous bomber jacket and set about finding a lunch spot... and guess what we found? Sushi!

Rudi snacking... always snacking

Famous image of Annecy, same one on our new Annecy fridge magnet

So we found a sushi restaurant. Rudi was puzzled with the complimentary miso soup. "is dit feta?"
But after giving the chef a scolding, almost 'Grinch'-like stare, the sushi made a quick trip to our table.
